ABOUT ME
I have always been a keen observer of the world and people around me, and the school of life has taught me a lot about human nature and relationships.
I have a multi cultural background, having spent the first 20 years of my life in France, with influences from Vietnam and Morocco through family and friends. My sense of adventure brought me to the UK, where I have spent the last 20 years. So I know what it is like to feel different, or rootless, and to struggle with the sense of belonging.
I am also a professional and a leader, as well as a wife and mother. So I understand the pressures and expectations that we, and others, can place on ourselves, when playing all these different roles, and therefore the challenge of balancing them. I also know what it is like to feel that you have to split or hide parts of yourself in order to be accepted or successful in a particular group (in relationships or at work). I understand the apparent dilemmas between vulnerability and leadership, and the difficulty in staying authentic in the face of these challenges.
I have had a life long journey of soul searching. Work-wise, I followed what I was good at and could get paid for, which led me to have a successful and mostly satisfying career. But I was always looking for something more, something truly fulfilling.
I was lucky enough to experience coaching at work. It opened my eyes to the limitations that I was imposing on myself, and the realisation that there could be something more. The journey never ends but I now know what path I want to be on and what can help me stay on it. And I want to help you do the same.
HOW I WORK
I am compassionate, caring and honest. And my style has been described as open, curious, tenacious, sensitive and empathic, with a good measure of warmth and wisdom. I use my intuition to get to the truth, confident to challenge and speak the unspoken.
EXPERIENCE
I have 20 years of experience in a global pharmaceutical company, most of which in management or leadership positions, with a focus on continuous improvement. So I understand how to drive change at the organisational level, both from a practical and human point of view. And I used a coaching approach to get the best out of my team.
I am also used to working in a very diverse context, across the boundaries of different countries and cultures, and within multi-cultural teams. This is something I particularly enjoy as I am always enriched by the differences, while also amazed and reminded of how much we have in common as human beings.
